Pills, 2020
Gouache on Paper
30 cm x 30 cm
Serving as the second piece in my triptych, this composition reflects my interpretation of another song by King Krule. The use of space to maximize the size of the pills as well as the use of color to make them seem almost candy like highlight why drugs are overpowering and addictive, as expressed by the song.

6 Feet Beneath The Moon, 2020
Gouache on Paper
30 cm x 30 cm
This painting is a glimpse into my interpretation of a music album by one of my favorite artists, King Krule. The contrast between the unrealistically vibrant background and the detailed subject matter is an ode to surrealism and the dreamlike qualities of the songs.

Untitled, 2019
Watercolor, Newspaper, Buttons
45.72 cm x 60.96 cm
This piece explores the relationship between ones environment and themselves. While it is easy to become overwhelmed by the surrounding world, this piece conveys that no matter how black and white the background is, it remains the background and should not dim how one expresses themselves within.

Self Portrait, 2019
Acrylic on Paper
18 cm x 24 cm
This work is a celebration of beauty and what it means on an individual level. The natural color palette as well as the intentional brush strokes show the unevenness of skintone while simultaneously highlighting the beauty of it and why it should be accepted as such.
